William F. Gammon, 90, of Fulton, NY, formerly of Liverpool, NY passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home.  William was born on August 13, 1933 in Minoa, NY to James and Marion (Post) Gammon and was a graduate of Liverpool High School Class of 1952.  Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired in 1994 as a Switchman with NY Telephone. He was a former member of Boy Scouts Troop #65 and Liverpool American Legion Post 188. Bill was an avid outdoors-man and loved his fishing trips to Canada and gardening, but he especially loved chopping wood. Bill also enjoyed SU Sports, NY Yankees and UConn Huskies Women's Basketball.  Bill was a true family man and was happiest when he had his entire family together.

William is predeceased by his wife, Sallie (Schad) Gammon; daughters, Nancy Lee Gammon and Patricia A. Terotta and a brother, Gene Murdick.

Bill is survived by his children, Susan (Stan) Fordyce of Wolcott, NY, Karen Gammon (Lisa Frateschi) of Liverpool, NY, Michael (Robert Chappell) Gammon of Baldwinsville, NY, Jennifer (Dan) Murphy of Liverpool, NY and Amy (Sean) Kuhn of Liverpool, NY; a sister, Shirley Kimberly of Plessis, NY; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and one great-great granddaughter.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 12, 2024 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool, NY 13088.  Spring burial will be in Liverpool Village Cemetery.
