June 27, 1932 – July 5, 2024
William "Bill" J. Piseczny, 92, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Syracuse Home. He was born in Johnstown, NY, the son of the late William H. and Tillie (Bojarczuk) Piseczny. Bill grew up in Johnstown, graduating from Johnstown High School. He was united in marriage to the former Roseann Ford, a blessed union of 67 years. After finishing business school, he started his career with General Electric and came to Liverpool, NY in 1960. He worked as a Financial Analyst with General Electric, retiring in 1989 after 39 years of employment. He was a member of the GE ELFUN Society. A communicant and founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Bill was the Parish Administrator from 1985 until 2000 and remained a dedicated active parishioner. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, Baldwinsville Chapter and was a former member of the Lysander Planning Board. Bill loved to travel, watch his NY Giants and was an avid SU football and basketball fan. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Martin Piseczny.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Roseann (Ford) Piseczny, his son, Mark E. Piseczny, daughter, Margaret "Peg" (James) Golembiewski, three adored grandchildren; Maureen (Justin) King, Elizabeth Piseczny (fiancé Andrew Dessin) and Brendon Piseczny, two great-grandchildren, who he loved to spoil, Jase and Reegan King, sister-in-law, Karen Piseczny and two nephews, Scott (Mary Lisa) Piseczny and Eric (Nancy) Piseczny.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. The Rite of Committal and inurnment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
