William "Bill" D. Thompson, 66, passed away from Pulmonary Fibrosis on Saturday, September 7, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife, Traci Thompson, and family. Bill, was one of many children of the late Elizabeth (Connors) and Donald Thompson.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force following his service, he owned Carpet Trends. Later he moved on to driving a school bus for the Liverpool School district where he retired from. Bill was passionate about his chickens, gardening, fishing, golfing, and spending time with those dearest to him.

He is survived by his wife, Traci Thompson, daughter, Sarah (Jackson) Sweeney, son, Justin (Lexi) Thompson, grandchildren; Kieran and Rowan, step daughters, Courtney Radley and Alicia Barron, sister, Linda (Burt) Ware, brother, Daniel (Jill) Thompson, his former wife, Susan Thompson and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
