William M. Young, Sr., 83, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Upstate University Hospital.  William retired from the Pilgrim Meat Packing Co. where he worked as a meat processor for over 40 years. William was a longtime member of the Seneca River Fire Department.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything associated with the outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children; William M. (Julie) Young, Jr., Marguerite (Robert) Bell, Mark A. (Patty) Young, Michael D. (Kara) Young, his sisters, Beverly, Susan, Clea, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with a funeral service to be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
