Marissa Ann Diamond, 28, of Syracuse, passed away on April 20, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.  Marissa was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Concord, NC where she graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School and Aveda Institute-Charlotte.  Over the years Marissa worked at various salons and restaurants, most recently alongside her father at Antonio's To Go.  Marissa left her mark on everyone she met; whether it was her beauty, kindness, hair color or inappropriate humor and she will continue to stay with us all through memories.

Marissa is predeceased by her brother, Myles Diamond; and her grandfathers – Michael Simiele, Stuart Rosenberger and Robert Diamond.

Marissa is survived by her mother and step-father, Susan & Brian Diamond of Concord, NC,  her father, Michael Simiele of Syracuse, NY, paternal grandmother, Wanda Simiele of Syracuse, NY, maternal grandmother, Carol Rosenberger of Liverpool, NY, step-grandmother, Carol Diamond of The Villages, FL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to the pandemic, Services will be private.

The family wishes to extend gratitude to the nurses for their wonderful care of Marissa and for going above and beyond to accommodate her parents during this difficult time.
