Our Story

Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. has been operating continuously in the Central New York area since 1927. The firm originated with G. Harry Maurer as the founder and continued with his son, John P. Maurer, John's wife Maureen B. Maurer and their son, Daniel J. Maurer. After Maureen B. Maurer and John P. Maurer passed away in 2019, their son, Daniel J. Maurer continues on as the third generation in operating the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. We are fortunate to have a dedicated staff who make our firm the most caring, professional, and knowledgeable funeral home available when your need is the greatest. We pride ourselves on the service we offer each and every person we serve. It is our desire that we conform to each individual's wishes.
